Brewers blown out by Yankees after game turns on bad non-call

The New York Yankees blew out the Milwaukee Brewers for the second straight day today, in a game that turned on a controversial non-call in what should have been a scoreless inning, but which turned into a seven-run, two-out rally. The ugly 15-5 scoreline overshadowed a competent outing from Tobias Myers and a good day for Jake Bauers in a game that was competitive until the sixth inning.

The Yankees’ powerful offense was unforgiving early. After Myers retired Anthony Volpe and Juan Soto, Aaron Judge—off to a tough start but coming around—popped a two-out solo homer to give the Yankees an early lead.
